WebApr 13, 2024 · Here, we report on surfaces composed of nanometric high-k dielectric films that control cell adhesion with low voltage and power. By applying ≈1 V across a high performance dielectric film with ≈1nW power draw, we show that cell adhesion can be enhanced or inhibited by changing the magnitude and sign of a surface's ζ.
